Nedis SmartLife rechargeable outdoor IP Camera comes with great flexibility, due to its waterproof housing (IP65). Its recharge-ability ensures there is no need for a power socket anywhere nearby. The camera can be simply connected to an existing Wi-Fi network to monitor the house or garden and record any sound or motion. The Nedis SmartLife app notifies in case of movement.
Once the camera is charged it is ready to be used as a security camera or keep a close eye on the belongings. Depending on the number of recordings it can last for a few months on a single charge. On average when it records 10 events a day, the battery will last 3 months. This may be affected by the temperature. Keep an eye on and react to everything in real-time via the app. Thanks to the micro SD slot, store recordings on a micro SD card up to 128 GB (not included).
It records in Full HD resolution (1920x1080 pixels) for complete clarity of the images captured. There is also an option to save the video material in our app through a cloud solution. The camera reacts to movements, so when someone passes the Wi-Fi camera it will react. It will start a recording automatically and additionally receive a push notification on the smartphone. The notifications are displayed as pop-up messages on the smartphone without having to open the app.
The sensitivity of the PIR sensor can be programmed. So it will not trigger false alarms. The Wi-Fi camera is equipped with a microphone and speaker. The two-way audio communication works perfectly to speak to somebody who is at the door.
The camera has a 130° wide-angle camera lens. This enables a very large surveillance radius. The Wi-Fi camera can be installed without a gateway and integrated directly into the wireless network – this simplifies installation and saves additional costs. The camera receives power via rechargeable batteries or can be charged with an optional solar panel.
A camera mount is included for positioning the camera to the walls of the house.
